A master's thesis at the Faculty of Law at the University of Basra examined the authority of administrative control in the protection of electronic data of the administration.
The thesis, submitted by the student Zakaa Nihad Sabri, aims to introduce the concept of electronic administrative control as it is of great importance and to describe the role of the administration in protecting electronic data, the means used, the legal bases and mechanisms adopted in that protection and the organizational and technical treatments for protection.
The thesis included four chapters in which I discussed the adequacy of legislation such as Iraqi legislation and other legislation of comparative countries such as the UAE and France in protecting electronic data for the administration, as the legislative texts in Iraq and some comparative countries were unable to face cybercrime because they were developed a long time ago and the difficulty of amending them.
