University of Basra organizes a workshop on the rights of people with special needs in the arts
The Faculty of Education for Girls at the University of Basra organized a workshop on "The Rights of People with Special Needs in the Arts: Towards Enhancing Representation and Cultural Inclusion".
The workshop aims to highlight the importance of empowering people with special needs to exercise their rights in the fields of education and the arts, and their integration into society.
The workshop included the presentation of research papers, during which researchers explained the right of people with special needs to have equal opportunities in education and the arts, and to provide an inclusive educational and artistic environment that takes into account their psychological and physical needs, and encourages the development of their creativity, presenting real-life field experiences of people of determination from the College of Fine Arts.
