University of Basra organizes a workshop on the rights of people with special needs within the university
The Faculty of Education for Girls at the University of Basra organized a workshop on the rights of students and professors with special needs within the university environment, in cooperation with the Nahrain Community College.
The workshop aims to enhance students' awareness of their rights and the rights of their professors within the university environment, in addition to introducing the rights of people with disabilities, within the framework of consolidating the principles of justice and equality, and creating an inclusive and stimulating educational environment for all.
The workshop included two lectures presented by professors Metab Abdul-Hussein and Bayda Daoud, during which they provided a comprehensive definition of the rights of students and professors on campus, as well as the rights of people with disabilities within the college, and the need to provide an inclusive educational environment that guarantees equal opportunities and takes into account the needs of this important group in society.
