University of Basra doctoral dissertation investigates the effect of oxyconditioning and Tabata with the intake of high-protein food bars
A doctoral thesis at the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport Sciences at the University of Basra investigated the effect of oxyconditioning and Tabata training with the intake of high-protein food bars (locally manufactured) on weight loss and some biochemical and functional variables of bodybuilders.
The thesis, submitted by student Hassan Saad Shalak, aimed to provide scientific evidence on the effectiveness of a specific weight loss strategy and some biochemical and functional variables, which can help bodybuilders make informed decisions on the best ways to achieve their weight loss goals and maintain good health.
The thesis recommends the use of Tabata training in strengthening physical and skill abilities because of its effectiveness not only on bodybuilders but also on other categories and sports, and paying attention to the aspect of nutrition of players with proper nutrition and conducting a periodic examination of players to test enzymes before preparation because it will give a complete picture of the physical and functional aspects of the player.
