University of Basra PhD thesis examines the manufacture of a steam boiler to sterilize foodstuffs
A doctoral thesis at the University of Basra's College of Agriculture has investigated the manufacture of a rotating infrared steam boiler equipped with an internet system to sterilize foodstuffs.
The thesis, submitted by student Atheer Abdul Amir Abdul Jabbar, aims to study the thermal performance of the sterilizer and analyze the characteristics of the steam using artificial intelligence.
The results showed that the rotary sterilizer consumes less energy and achieves higher productivity compared to the traditional sterilizer, and was characterized by a shorter sterilization time and greater effectiveness in reaching the cold point.
The study recommended adopting the model to improve sterilization efficiency and reduce costs.
