Master's thesis at the University of Basra examines the effect of planting dates and NPK fertilizer on the growth of Sudan grass
The Faculty of Agriculture at the University of Basra has published a master's thesis on the effect of planting dates and NPK fertilizer levels on the growth, yield and quality of green and dry fodder of the Sudan grass crop.
The study, presented by student Doaa Salman Marzouk, aims to determine the best planting date and the optimal level of compound fertilizer in the southern region to achieve high productivity and better fodder quality.
The field experiment was conducted at the Agricultural Research Station.
The study included three planting dates and four fertilizer levels, while monitoring their impact on plant growth and fodder production.
