A master's thesis at the College of Education for Human Sciences at the University of Basrah examined "The Key Word in the Supplications of Sahifa al-Sajjadiyya: A Semantic Study."

The thesis, presented by student Sahar Faisal Jassim, aimed to shed light on a stylistic phenomenon rarely addressed in literary texts, particularly in prose texts: the "key word."

The study included an explanation of the method used by Imam Sajjad (peace be upon him) in selecting key words and their semantic implications, through which he was able to convey his ideas and messages. It also emphasized that the supplications of Sahifa al-Sajjadiyya are literary texts that represent the pinnacle of creativity, and that the Imam (peace be upon him) spared no effort in conveying his messages.
