University of Basra organizes an awareness seminar titled "Hemorrhagic Fever"
As part of its human rights awareness activities, the Natural History Museum at the University of Basra organized an awareness seminar entitled "Hemorrhagic Fever", as part of the "Safe Environment from Diseases" campaign. A legitimate right.
The seminar aimed to educate and raise awareness about this dangerous disease, enhance capabilities in the field of prevention, diagnosis and treatment, and activate cooperation between the concerned parties to combat it effectively.
The seminar, which was delivered by Dr. Mohammed Abdulamam Al-Maziny, addressed the definition of hemorrhagic fever, its transmission methods, symptoms, means of prevention, and the importance of community awareness. The seminar also emphasized the importance of a healthy environment in limiting the spread of communicable diseases and enhancing public safety.
This seminar is part of a series of health awareness events organized by the museum as part of its community mission and its keenness to support human rights in a safe environment free of health risks, while opening its doors to receive interested people from different segments.
