University of Basra organizes a workshop on drowning first aid
The Faculty of Nursing at the University of Basra organized a workshop on first aid for drowning and burn cases.
The workshop aims to apply first aid for drowning cases in a correct way, in addition to implementing the steps to deal quickly with the case of suffocation.
The workshop included the presentation of several research papers, during which the researchers explained the definition of drowning and suffocation, the difference between them, the causes and factors leading to drowning and suffocation, the signs and symptoms of drowning and suffocation, in addition to identifying the possible complications that may result from both drowning and suffocation.
