University of Basra organizes a conference to discuss students' graduation projects
The Faculty of Engineering at the University of Basra organized a conference to discuss students' graduation projects to enhance the applied and research aspect.
The Dean of the College of Engineering, Dr. Mufid Turki Rashid, stated that the aim of the conference is to evaluate
the level of knowledge and skills that students have acquired during their academic career, in addition to developing thinking and designs and enhancing presentation and communication skills, to ensure that they are adequately qualified for the labor market.
He added that the conference discussed measuring the quality of educational outputs and the extent to which they are in line with the requirements of the local market, as the projects presented were characterized by their diversity and relevance to contemporary technical and environmental challenges.
