A doctoral thesis at the University of Basra examines the reality of industrial linkages

A doctoral thesis at the University of Basra's Faculty of Education for Human Sciences examined the reality of industrial linkages in Dhi Qar Governorate and its future prospects.

The thesis, submitted by student Ahmed Taleb Hasab, aimed to reveal the spatial structure of industrial activities in Dhi Qar Governorate, analyze the production and distribution links between them, and identify the most important opportunities and challenges facing the development of the industrial sector in the future. 

The thesis concluded that Dhi Qar governorate has many raw materials of all kinds with the possibility of benefiting from them, as well as a distinct geographical location in the heart of the south that helps it in strengthening industrial links and is characterized by the presence of a network of roads and transportation.
