University of Basra's Faculty of Education and Pure Sciences at the University of Basra researches a PhD thesis on the characterization of the two-chain structures of new tetrazole derivatives
The Faculty of Education for Pure Sciences at the University of Basra has published a doctoral thesis on the characterization of the structures of two series of new tetrazole derivatives.
The thesis, submitted by researcher Hoora Qasim Munawar, involved the preparation of two series of tetrazole derivatives through various chemical reactions, including the reaction of chlorobenzonitrile with sodium azide and ammonium chloride, and the preparation of acetamide derivatives through the reaction of aniline compensators with triethylamine and chloroacetyl chloride. The structures were characterized using techniques such as infrared, mass spectra, and NMR. The anticancer activity of these derivatives was also studied.
