University of Basra staff continue their service, agricultural and maintenance work
As part of the university's continuous endeavor to maintain its university environment and service facilities, the staff of the Office Affairs Department at the University of Basra continued comprehensive work to install a number of water pumps in some vital locations, in addition to carrying out regular maintenance of the pumps currently in operation to ensure their efficiency and continuity of operation, especially in light of the high temperatures.
For its part, the Agricultural Division carried out pruning operations in gardens and green spaces, in addition to following up on irrigation and plant care, to ensure continuous vegetation cover and create a suitable environment for students and employees.
The Services Division also continued to clean the fountain basins and remove the accumulated waste and debris from them, as part of continuous efforts to maintain the aesthetic facilities of the university.
The director of the office affairs department, Engineer Mahmoud Jafar, said: He praised the spirit of commitment and keenness shown by the staff throughout the past week, with the aim of improving the service, maintenance and agricultural reality of the university.
