University of Basra concludes mock court sessions
The sessions of the mock court concluded at the Faculty of Law at the University of Basra to train students of the third stage of morning and evening studies.
The supervisor of the mock court, Dr. Menghed Abdul Ridha, said that the court sessions were held under the chairmanship of Judge Dr. Falah Al-Tamimi to conduct a scenario that simulates the reality of pleadings in courts where students perform in the roles of judges, lawyers and defendants.
He added that the aim of the sessions is to train students for the morning and evening sessions on how to plead and make a judgment in various cases.
