University of Basrah Organizes a Seminar on Geography and Urban Planning
The Cultural Center, in cooperation with the Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basrah, organized a seminar entitled "Urban Geography: A Study of Urban Planning Theories."
The seminar, presented by Saja Abdullah Jalub, aimed to analyze the extent to which modern scientific theories have influenced the development of geographical thought in the modern era and their implications for the renewal of urban planning concepts and methods.
The seminar presented an analytical vision of the relationship between planning thought and geography, discussing the practical applications of planning theories and their role in achieving balanced and sustainable urban development in a way that meets current needs without compromising the capabilities of future generations.
