The seminar highlighted the rapid changes to the dynamics of increasing population growth in Iraq, which generates pressure on natural resources and services and a threat to ecosystems and sustainability plans in modern cities.
The seminar recommended the need for governments to formulate balanced development policies, improve the urban environment, meet the needs of the population, and promote awareness of the importance of city planning.
