University of Basra Organizes a Seminar on the Universal Declaration of Human Rights
The Cultural Center at the University of Basrah organized a seminar on the concept and characteristics of human rights in light of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, signed by UN member states in 1948.
The seminar, presented by lecturer Falah Hassan Falih, emphasized the importance of individuals understanding the importance of respecting the rights and personal privacy of others, and demonstrating behavior consistent with the theoretical foundations of these rights enshrined in more than 70 international treaties between UN member states.
