University of Basra organizes a symposium to commemorate the tragedy of the Speicher martyrs
The Faculty of Agriculture at the University of Basra organized a seminar entitled "Speicher is unforgettable blood" to remember the tragedy of the martyrdom of more than 1700 young people by the gangs of the D.A.A.S. and to focus on the blood of this deviant ideology that wreaked the worst types of injustice and crime in our provinces.
The seminar at the Faculty of Agriculture included a speech by the Dean of the Faculty, Dr. Sarmad Ghazi Mohammed, during which he spoke about the sacrifices of the sons of Iraq and their steadfastness in the face of extremist organizations and the role of the wise marja'iyya in the fatwa of sufficient jihad, which restored the prestige of Iraq and cleaned its lands from the evils of oppression and tyranny and the unity of its sons who gave their blood for the stability of Iraq and the security of its people.
During the seminar, a short movie about the ugliness of criminality and violation of human rights and how to take revenge on the lives of innocent people was shown.
The seminar was moderated by the head of the Human Rights Unit at the college, Dr. Sabrin Hazem Abdulwahid.
