The University of Basra's Marine Science Center organized a seminar on the impact of environmental factors on shrimp farming in artificial ponds.
The seminar, which was attended by Dr. Nada Mufid Abdullatif and Dr. Mayada Hussein Ahmed, aimed to support sustainable development plans in preserving the marine diversity of shrimp and increasing its productivity to secure it as a source of food for future generations, solving farming issues and improving its industrial environmental conditions.
The seminar explained the environmental factors affecting shrimp farming, including water quality, temperature, dissolved oxygen, food and health, and how to adjust their optimal scientific ratios in industrial ponds, and ensure accurate investigation.
