University of Basra honors maritime expert Dr. Hussein Ghazi Khalifa
The University of Basra's Marine Science Center honored the retired captain and marine expert Dr. Hussein Ghazi Khalifa with a shield of creativity and excellence for his contribution in developing marine knowledge, supporting scientific research and continuing his voluntary work at the center to transfer his experience to future generations of researchers.
The Director of the Center, Dr. Shaker Ghaleb Ajil, said, "We must stand at this scientific leader and stand in awe of his research and field efforts to develop the Iraqi marine environment, and he continues to provide it voluntarily without fatigue or boredom, as Dr. Hussein represents for us a value and a treasure of knowledge and a light guide for future generations of our researchers because of his wide scientific knowledge, he is truly a future investment for our center."
