University of Basra holds a course on accounting and auditing
The Continuing Education Center at the University of Basra held a training course on accounting and auditing.
The course aims to develop the performance of accountants and auditors in state departments, enhance their understanding of international standards in accounting, and clarify the tasks of the auditor and the importance of adhering to the rules of professional behavior.
The course, presented by Muhannad Diaa Al-Tamimi, included the concepts of leadership and financial management, as well as the criteria for preparing current and investment budgets.
The course recommended the need to adopt international accounting standards and ethical commitment in performing audit tasks.
