University of Basra receives the Independent High Electoral Commission
The Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology at the University of Basra received a staff member from the Electoral Commission as part of a field campaign to update voter data.
A special station was set up inside the college to facilitate updating procedures for students and teaching staff, which contributes to enhancing electoral participation and updating records accurately.
The station witnessed a turnout of those wishing to update their information or receive their biometric cards.
The dean of the college and faculty members expressed their support for this initiative, stressing the importance of cooperation between the Commission and educational institutions in spreading electoral awareness and promoting transparency in the democratic process.
