University of Basra staff performs maintenance on a corroded water pipe at Bab Al-Zubair pumping station
The staff of the Department of Diwan Affairs at the University of Basra have completed urgent maintenance work on a corroded water pipe at the pumping station located in Bab Al-Zubair site.
The director of the department, Engineer Mahmoud Jafar Jassim, said that the field work team of the division's staff was able, quickly and efficiently, to address the damage in the corroded pipe, and restore the normal flow of water, without affecting the progress of work in vital sites.
Mahmoud explained : The maintenance process was carried out in coordination with the Agriculture Division at the site, to ensure that crops are protected and not affected during the repair work, praising the cooperation of the cadres and the speed of response, and emphasizing the importance of permanent technical readiness and joint coordination between service divisions.
