A master's thesis at the University of Basra examines the phenomenon of spatial heart
A master's thesis at the University of Basra's Faculty of Education and Humanities examined the phenomenon of spatial heart in the spoken Iraqi dialect according to the linguistic differential theory.
The thesis, submitted by the student Taqa Safa al-Din Saleh, aimed to prove the success of the linguistic differential theory in explaining the phenomenon of the phonetic spatial heart in the spoken Iraqi dialect, as well as identifying the constraints that have the most prominent impact in motivating it.
The thesis concluded that the linguistic differential theory is able to explain the phenomenon of phonological spatialization in the spoken Iraqi dialect, indicating the reasons for its occurrence and why it is preferred over other phonological strategies.
