University of Basra holds the fourteenth session of its regular council
The University of Basra held the fourteenth morning session of its regular council for the academic year 2024-2025 under the chairmanship of Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kazim and in the presence of his assistant for administrative affairs, the secretary of the council and its members.
The session witnessed a review of the university president's directives and the approval of a number of scientific promotions for teaching staff, in addition to emphasizing the implementation of ministerial directives and the instructions of the opinion body on a number of important matters.
The Council also discussed the approval of the results of the final exams for the first round of the first cycle for the stages above the first, the proposal to transform the cultural center into an independent non-profit research institution, and other paragraphs on its agenda, as well as voting on decisions supporting the educational process aimed at developing the research and administrative reality in the university's formations.
