University of Basra researches smart data analysis models in medical diagnosis and pharmacy
The Faculty of Computer Science and Information Technology at the University of Basra has published a doctoral thesis titled "Smart Data Analysis Models and Methods in Medical Diagnostics and Pharmacy" by researcher Mohammed Moanis Ismail Al-Saghir.
The thesis aims to predict adverse drug reactions using smart mining techniques, through a NNPS model that integrates convolutional neural networks with negative swarm optimization.
The results showed the superiority of the proposed model in AUROC and AUPRC indices, enhancing its reliability as a tool to support the safe management of polypharmacy.
