The Department of Internal Affairs at the University of Basrah organized a comprehensive campaign to rehabilitate the gardens.
The goal of this campaign is to provide a beautiful and healthy environment for students, improve the overall appearance, and increase the green spaces.
The campaign included a comprehensive cleaning of the gardens, removing plant and solid waste, rehabilitating the soil through plowing, adding organic fertilizers, and planting new plants, including various types of trees, shrubs, and seasonal flowers.
