The thesis, submitted by student Doha Iyad Yassin Idris, aimed to simplify the treatment regimen and highlight the importance of insulin use in patients with severe hyperglycemia at diagnosis, with the aim of improving patient adherence to treatment
The thesis evaluated the efficacy and safety of early initiation of insulin therapy in combination with several antihyperglycemic drugs in improving glycemic control during one year of follow-up.
