University of Basrah Welcomes Independent High Electoral Commission
The College of Law at the University of Basrah welcomed a staff member from the Independent High Electoral Commission as part of a field campaign to update voter data.
A special station was set up within the college to facilitate the update process for students and faculty, contributing to enhanced electoral participation and accurate voter registration.
The station witnessed a large turnout from those wishing to update their information and receive their biometric cards.
The Dean of the College and faculty members expressed their support for this initiative, emphasizing the importance of cooperation between the Commission and educational institutions in spreading electoral awareness and enhancing transparency in the democratic process.
