University of Basra's Dr. Alaa Razak Al-Najjar publishes book on nuclear and strategic weapons
Dr. Alaa Razak Al-Najjar, an instructor at the Basra and Arabian Gulf Studies Center at the University of Basra, has published a book titled "Nuclear and Strategic Weapons in US-Soviet Relations (1969-1972)".
The 264-page book deals with the negotiations that took place between the United States and the Soviet Union on limiting the spread of nuclear and strategic weapons in the world, which represented one of the most important issues that occupied media attention in that era, in light of the data, circumstances and conditions that prevailed at the time, it was not excluded that one of them resorted to the use of their internationally prohibited weapons, whose destructive environmental impact may extend to countries around the world.
