University of Basra organizes an educational seminar on the importance of training courses in capacity building
The Rehabilitation and Employment Division at the University of Basra organized an educational seminar on the importance of training courses in building the capabilities of graduates and enhancing their academic and personal skills.
Mr. Jabbar Amin, Director of the Department of Missions and Cultural Relations, pointed out that the courses organized by the university are concerned with developing scientific and cultural capabilities and developing leadership skills, as they work to upgrade the intellectual queen of graduates to a higher level and improve the quality of life and the maturity of their ideas and proposals so that they become prominent and influential people in life
He added that the courses build a person's self-confidence and increase his knowledge of the latest developments to keep pace with the labor market, so he must seek information in order to raise his level of productivity and self-development.
Dr. Ghazwan Abdul-Latif, head of the Rehabilitation and Employment Division, said that this seminar comes to discuss vital topics that shape the professional future of graduates, and encourages them to participate in these courses that gain them additional skills needed by specialized companies, including the safety passport course, English language courses, and specialized computer programs.
For his part, the head of the Citizens Affairs Division, Mr. Salem Abdul Ridha Salem, explained that some observations were recorded among the graduates due to poor skills, and with the presence of these courses, they will be overcome, and the courses will be classified by specialties and free of charge without any costs and will be held at the Basra University Presidency or the Continuing Education Center with tests and stages that the graduate passes to reach the appropriate employment opportunities.
