University of Basra Doctoral Dissertation Examines the Impact of Work Systems on Organisational Behaviour
A doctoral dissertation at the Faculty of Management and Economics at the University of Basra examined the impact of highly committed and engaged work systems on positive and negative behavior, through attitudes and proactive behavior, and the role of the variables of individual conformity to the organization and perceived organizational support.
The thesis by Iman Fadel Ismail aimed to analyze the five dimensions of work systems (compensation, polarization, testing, performance evaluation, training and development) and their relationship with the behaviors of individuals in universities and private colleges in Basra.
The study included a questionnaire and a logical analysis of the data, and found direct effects between the variables.
It provided recommendations to enhance the work environment.
