University of Basra organizes a seminar on how to combat homicide
The Cultural Center, in cooperation with the Center for Development and Continuing Education at the University of Basra, organized a seminar entitled: "The crime of murder, its concept, its elements and ways to address it."
The seminar dealt with the legal definition of the crime of murder, explaining the psychological and individual damage it causes to society, and the legal sanctions in Iraqi law in force for that crime, whether intentional or unintentional by the perpetrator, while explaining the elements of the crime and its purposes.
