University of Basra doctoral dissertation examines spatial analysis of dropout phenomenon
A doctoral thesis at the University of Basra examined the spatial analysis of the dropout phenomenon in Qurna district.
The thesis, submitted by student Nagham Qasim Abdul Hamid, aimed to shed light on the phenomenon of dropping out of primary and secondary schools in Qurna district and analyze the variation in the size of the phenomenon temporally and spatially.
The thesis concluded that there is a clear disparity in the size of the dropouts according to gender, as well as in the size of male and female dropouts in relation to their peers who are in school.
