Alpha-tocopherol and phenylalanine amino acid on vegetative and floral growth
A master's thesis at the University of Basra's College of Agriculture investigated the effect of alpha-tocopherol and the amino acid phenylalanine on the vegetative and floral growth and active ingredients of the Laleh Abbas plant.
The thesis, submitted by student Ali Hussein Kata'a Al-Hamdani, aimed to study the plant's response to the two factors and their effect on vegetative and floral traits.
The results showed that a concentration of 150 mg/L of both alpha-tocopherol and phenylalanine gave a significant effect on most of the studied traits.
The thesis recommended increasing interest in the cultivation of this plant and conducting more studies due to the scarcity of research on it.
