University of Basrah Holds Scientific Workshop on Incorporating Modern Methods in Mummification
The Natural History Museum at the University of Basrah held a specialized scientific workshop entitled "Incorporating Modern Methods in Mummification."
The workshop aimed to develop the skills of museum staff in the field of mummification and to familiarize them with the latest techniques and materials used in this art, which is a fundamental scientific pillar in science museums.
The workshop, presented by Hanan Jumaa Obaidi, featured advanced techniques and new methods that help improve the quality of mummification, increase its accuracy, and extend the lifespan of the specimens on display.
