University of Basra organizes a course on hormonal stimulation of fish
The Marine Science Center at the University of Basra organized a training course on artificial reproduction of fish using stimulating hormones.
The course, which was lectured by Dr. Faleh Musa Jaafar, aimed to increase fish production, improve the quality of live strains, and avoid the high costs of natural reproduction.
The course included an explanation of how to hormonally stimulate fish to enhance their growth and reproduction by injecting them with specific hormones or modifying the surrounding environment to affect the production of natural hormones.
