Two Faculty Members at the University of Basrah Publish Research in an Italian Journal Indexed in Scopus and Clarivate
Two faculty members at the Marine Science Center of the University of Basrah, Dr. Amir Abbas Mohammed and Dr. Ammar Yasser Jasem, together with other researchers, have published a scientific paper entitled:
“Statistical Optimization of Culture Conditions for Enhanced Biomass Yield of Lactobacillus acidophilus CM1 Using Plackett–Burman and Response Surface Methodology in International Journal of Food Science has the following publication status”
in the International Journal of Food Science (Open Access), published by John Wiley & Sons.
The journal, which is indexed in both Scopus (with an impact factor of 6.2) and Clarivate, specializes in publishing research and studies related to food sciences and food processing.
The research aimed to improve bioprocesses for industrial fermentation. It focused on identifying and optimizing growth parameters using the Plackett–Burman design and enhancing biomass production of Lactobacillus acidophilus CM1 to support the development of cost-effective growth strategies for probiotic production.
