University of Basrah Chairs the 2025 Meeting of the Deans’ Committee for Administrative and Economic Specializations
The Dean of the College of Administration and Economics at the University of Basrah, Dr. Abdul-Hussein Tawfiq Shibli, chaired the fourth meeting of the Committee of Deans of Colleges of Administration and Economics in Iraqi universities for the year 2025. The meeting was held at the College of Administration and Economics, University of Anbar, in the city of Ramadi.
The discussions focused on performance evaluation in the standardized (assessment) exam, success rates, and mechanisms for implementing ministerial directives. The agenda also included proposals for establishing new departments in private colleges, the potential establishment of a College of Administration and Economics in Al-Shirqat, and the launch of a Master’s program in Economics at the University of Misan.
The attendees expressed satisfaction with the meeting’s outcomes and the success of the assessment experience.
