Basrah University organizes workshop on scientific plagiarism and the role of publishing
The Ibn Sina Center for E-Learning, in collaboration with the Continuing Education Center at the University of Basrah, organized a workshop on scientific plagiarism and the role of reputable publishing houses.
The workshop, presented by Dr. Uday Bashir Isa, aimed to enhance the understanding of new researchers and teachers of scientific research ethics and academic integrity in order to strengthen the position of the University of Basrah in international scientific forums.
The workshop included an explanation of the basics of proper academic writing, mechanisms for selecting reputable scientific journals, ways to avoid linguistic errors, and how to adhere to quality standards and reputable publishing.
