Assistant President of the University of Basrah for Administrative Affairs Inspects the Marine Science Center
Dr. Ayman Saleh Ne’ma, Assistant President of the University of Basrah for Administrative Affairs, conducted an inspection visit to the Marine Science Center at the Karma Ali campus, where he was received by the Center’s Director General, Dr. Shaker Ghaleb Ajeel.
During the visit, Dr. Ne’ma reviewed the research and administrative activities of the Center and followed up on the progress of scientific projects and future plans being implemented in the fields of marine sciences and aquaculture. This comes within the framework of the continuous support provided by the university’s presidency to specialized research centers.
Dr. Ayman Saleh’s tour also included the Center’s fish farming station, where he was briefed on the breeding processes and the transfer of fingerlings to artificial lakes. He expressed great interest in the level of technologies employed and the results achieved, praising the efforts of the staff working in this vital field, which has a direct impact on food security and the enhancement of the local economy.
