University of Basrah Welcomes Students from Private Institutes
The Natural History Museum at the University of Basrah welcomed a group of students from the Institute of Languages as part of a scientific visit aimed at enhancing students’ practical and theoretical knowledge. The visit offered an opportunity to explore the museum’s diverse exhibits, which showcase Iraq’s rich biological and geological diversity.
During their tour, the students explored various sections of the museum and viewed specimens of taxidermy, minerals, rocks, and fossils. The museum staff provided detailed explanations about the scientific and educational significance of these collections and interacted with students by answering their questions.
This visit is part of ongoing academic cooperation between university institutions and reflects the museum’s commitment to its educational and awareness-raising role, as well as its mission to promote environmental awareness within the academic community.
