Master’s Thesis at the University of Basrah Examines the Effect of Treatment on Growing Mango Seedlings
A master’s thesis at the College of Agriculture, University of Basrah, studied the impact of treatment with plant extracts and nano-selenium on the biochemical and anatomical characteristics of mango seedlings grown under the conditions of Basrah Governorate.
The thesis, presented by master’s student Noor Abdulrazzaq Abdullah, aimed to investigate the use of two types of plant extracts—Moringa and Damas—as well as nano-selenium applied in varying concentrations as foliar sprays.
The study demonstrated that using plant extracts, nano-selenium, and their combined applications improved the growth indicators of mango plants, which in turn had a positive effect on overall growth performance.
