University of Basrah Participates in Cultural Event on Fatimid Messages at Al-Farahidi Theater
As part of the activities of Al-Farahidi Street for Culture and Books in Basrah Governorate, the College of Pharmacy, in cooperation with the event’s organizing committee, held an educational cultural lecture entitled “Fatimid Messages.”
The lecture, delivered by faculty member Najlaa Al-Saffar, highlighted a collection of messages inspired by the Fatimid legacy, shedding light on the educational and human values drawn from the life of Lady Fatimah Al-Zahraa (peace be upon her) and her role in building the family and community.
The event witnessed remarkable attendance by university students, intellectuals, and visitors to Al-Farahidi Street, who actively engaged with the lecture through questions and discussions that enriched the dialogue, creating a cultural atmosphere that underscored the importance of such initiatives in promoting educational and moral awareness within the academic community.
In her address, Al-Saffar emphasized the significance of educational guidance as an effective tool for developing students’ character, noting that such gatherings open avenues for reflection and positive change, inspired by the symbols and lofty values of Islamic thought.
