University of Basrah Staff Begin Installing Lighting for the University’s Pilgrimage Service Tent
The Department of Administrative Affairs at the University of Basrah has commenced the installation of lighting for the university’s service tent, located along the walking route of pilgrims heading to Imam Hussein (peace be upon him), as part of the university’s preparations to support pilgrims during the Arbaeen pilgrimage.
Eng. Mahmoud Jaafar, Director of the Department of Administrative Affairs, stated that these efforts reflect the department’s commitment to providing all necessary facilities and logistical support to ensure the university fulfills its service role toward the pilgrims. He added that work teams will continue their efforts around the clock to complete the installation in the best possible manner, in line with the directives of the university’s presidency and its keen interest in supporting this important religious occasion.
