PhD Dissertation at the University of Basrah Examines the Spatial Relationships between Erosion and Runoff Volume
A PhD dissertation at the College of Education for Human Sciences at the University of Basrah examined the spatial relationships between erosion and runoff volume in the Wadi al-Faraj basin in Najaf and Muthanna governorates using remote sensing and geographic information systems (GIS).
The dissertation, presented by student Manaf Jabbar Saddar, aimed to highlight the most important natural characteristics of the study area and their impact on geomorphological and hydrological phenomena and processes, particularly surface runoff and erosion.
The dissertation included a study of the spatial relationships between erosion and runoff volume in the Wadi al-Faraj basin in Najaf and Muthanna governorates using remote sensing and geographic information systems.
