University of Basrah’s Procession Captivates Attention with Its Humanitarian Services for Arbaeen Pilgrims of Imam Hussain (peace be upon him)
The University of Basrah’s procession at the Shalamcheh border crossing continues to shine through its exceptional humanitarian services offered to the pilgrims of Imam Hussain’s (peace be upon him) Arbaeen, who are arriving in the city of Basrah. The University President, Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kazem Al-Asadi, stated that this year’s procession is distinguished by the provision of high-quality, around-the-clock services, free of charge. In addition, medical and therapeutic services are being provided under the supervision of medical teams from the Colleges of Medicine and Nursing.
He added that the university’s participation in this religious occasion conveys a humanitarian and national message that reflects the academic institution’s commitment to its role in serving the community.
