Moment of Silence Held by the College of Agriculture at the University of Basrah in Remembrance of Genocide Victims
Dr. Sarmad Ghazi Mohammed Al-Shawi, Dean of the College of Agriculture, along with his assistants, several department heads, and staff members, organized a moment of silence to honor the victims of genocide committed against the Yazidi community and other Iraqi components, and to remember the souls of all martyrs of Iraq.
This observance served as an expression of human and national solidarity, a reflection of the unity among the Iraqi people, and a clear rejection of all forms of violence and extremism that threaten Iraq’s cultural and religious diversity.
