University of Basrah Receives Delegation from the Ministry’s Citizens Affairs Department
The Presidency of the University of Basrah received a delegation from the Citizens Affairs Department at the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, to discuss ways of enhancing the university’s operations and improving services provided to students and staff.
The delegation was received by the University President, Dr. Muhannad Jawad Kazem Al-Asadi, along with Mr. Salem Abdul Redha Al-Zameli, Head of the Citizens Affairs Division at the university.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed mechanisms for streamlining administrative procedures and offering prompt and effective solutions to the issues faced by university staff and students.
The university leadership reaffirmed its commitment to continuous coordination with the Ministry of Higher Education to overcome obstacles and facilitate transactions in a way that ensures transparency and fairness for all visitors, aiming to improve performance and the quality of services provided.
This visit comes as part of the Ministry’s efforts to maintain direct communication with its academic institutions, assess their needs, and develop operational mechanisms in line with governmental directives to better serve citizens.
