Book by a Lecturer at the University of Basrah on the Procedures of Prohibition and Abstention in Fatimid History Has Been Published
Dr. Ali Saddam Nasr, a lecturer at the College of Education for Girls at the University of Basra, has published a book entitled "Procedures of Prohibition and Abstention in Fatimid History."
The book contains 320 pages, divided into an introduction in which the author discusses prohibition and abstention in language, terminology, the Qur'an, and Hadith.
The first chapter of the book addresses prevention measures, while the second chapter covers abstention measures. Both chapters contain additional subsections, including political, economic, social, religious, sectarian, and military ones, rich in examples and abundant evidence of their topics. All of this is addressed in several sections within the two aforementioned chapters.
